Depending on the laws of your country and your income situations you might qualify for support money from the state/county/city/religious community she might have been part of/etc.
Also: Make sure she's _not_ getting embalmed! It might sound stupid, but certain funeral homes make money by senselessly embalming bodies. The US have no law that forces anybody to be embalmed after death - cremation or not.
